With nearly 30 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes, as estimated by the American Diabetes Association, and another 86 million Americans having prediabetes, Renée Davis, RD, CDE, PRH Diabetes Services Coordinator, believes strongly in recognizing November as American Diabetes Month.

On November 4, Davis and the Prairie Ridge Health team will host an American Diabetes Month event at Prairie Ridge Health in an effort to increase awareness of the disease and inform patients and community members of the increasing options they have to live well with diabetes.
