Prairie Ridge Health and Olivet Church are partnering for a FREE Hands Only CPR and AED workshop on June 13th at Olivet Church.

Participants will be educated on the difference between a Heart Attack an Sudden Cardiac Arrest, see a demo of Hands Only CPR and AED usage as well as get a chance to ask questions from our expert panel. Chris Orange, Lifestar EMS and Dr. Bruce Kraus will be on hand to discuss the American Heart Association chain of survival and offer insight into what EMS and medical staff will need from you the rescuer.

There will be two 45 minute sessions offered: 5p.m. and 6p.m.. To register or if you have questions please contact Chris DeLapp, Education Manager at Prairie Ridge Health at 920-623-1276. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Caring for someone with a chronic illness such as Dementia, cancer, heart disease, Parkinson's disease or stroke can be physically, emotionally and financially exhausting. We would like to connect you with some powerful tools through an educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse or friend. Participants will learn to: reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings, increase their ability to make tough decisions, locate helpful resources and much more. 

Classes meet for 2 hours each week for six weeks. 

Dates:      Monday, October 1 - November 5, 2018 
Time:       1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Location:  Columbus COmmunity Hospital, Diamond Room (1515 Park Ave, Columbus WI 53925). Please come to the hospital main entrance. Diamond Room is located on the Ground Floor.  
Cost:        $15.00 - Book Fee
