The Prairie Ridge Health Foundation offers two different scholarships for those interested in pursuing a career in nursing.

The Ruth Kohlwey Nursing Scholarship
In Memory of Ruth Kohlwey, this scholarship is made possible through the generosity of the Kohlwey family and the Prairie Ridge Health staff. The Kohlwey Scholarship is available to PRH team members who are pursing a nursing career or extending their nursing education.  If you are interested in applying complete and return the Scholarship Application to the Foundation Office or 

The Stare Nursing Scholarship
In Memory of Fredrick A. Stare and Nina I. Stare, the Stare Scholarship is available to Columbus High School Students who wish to prepare themselves through further education for a career as a Registered Nurse in the medical or public health field. For more information regarding this scholarship and to obtain an application form, please visit the Student Services office at Columbus High School.  

Allied Health Laboratory Technician 2021 Scholarship

This scholarship is made possible through the WI Department of Health Services Allied Health Professional Education and Training Grant, and is available to three local 2021 high school seniors pursuing a career as a Laboratory Technician. Additional Scholarships Available
In addition to the scholarships provided by the Prairie Ridge Health Foundation, both the Volunteer of PRH and Prairie Ridge Health offers scholarships to high school students pursing a 2 or 4 year degree in a health care field.  Click here for more information.
