Current Fundraising Efforts
The Foundation provides funding for a variety of programs and services, including patient care, medical equipment and technology, and community health initiatives. Donate NowSimulation Lab Equipment – $200,000
The Prairie Ridge Health Foundation is committed to raising funds to purchase a fully interactive Simulation Manikin and additional training equipment for the hospital to create an on-site Simulation Lab.
The manikin will allow our education team to create and manipulate symptoms, vitals and various scenarios to train the patient care team. The equipment and supplies will be used to provide continuing education and replicate standard and trauma scenarios. Practice and confidence are crucial in creating the readiness to handle all situations that arise while performing medical care.
This state-of-the-art equipment will keep our team up to date on current standards, finesse their skills for common procedures, and allow them to practice for infrequent situations, so they are prepared to handle the unexpected.
