Medicine the way your body needs it.
Care You Can Trust
Infusion & Transfusion Therapy Services
Infusion Therapy
Infusion therapy delivers medicine, antibiotics, or hydration directly into the bloodstream via an intravenous (IV) line. As a minimally invasive and efficient outpatient technique, we use infusion therapy to treat a variety of medical conditions or to offset the side effects of other treatments.
Transfusion Therapy
During a blood transfusion, a patient receives blood via a central line catheter or a peripheral (hand/arm) IV. Most often, blood is given when there is active bleeding or low blood levels.
Your Care Team
Your care team includes registered nurses, pharmacists, and lab personnel. A registered nurse will monitor you during your infusion to make sure you are comfortable.
