Prairie Ridge Health's Emergency Services staff is here for you and your family 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 
24-hour physician coverage with emergency board-certified physicians and ACLS and TNCC (Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Trauma Nurse Certification) certified nurses, working together as a specially trained team to provide you with the best possible care.

Our Emergency Department and Urgent Care Services accepts most major insurances.

Our Emergency Department staff works closely with area ambulance and EMS services from Beaver Dam to Sun Prairie, Marshall to Randolph, Rio to Reeseville, and other local communities as well as Med-Flight services in Madison.

  • Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath requiring oxygen or nebulizer treatment
  • Severe bleeding
  • Choking
  • Poisoning
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Suspect stroke
  • Severe fractures

  • Abdominal pain with extensive workup
  • Deep cuts or severe burns
  • Suicide attempt
  • Transfer for further care
  • IV fluid treatment for any illness
  • IV medications
  • Conditions requiring additional resources beyond that of Urgent Care
For non-emergency care needs, Prairie Ridge Health offers a Walk-In Clinic, 7 days a week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m..
