Prairie Ridge Health provides the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Labor and Delivery Nurse to prepare for your baby’s arrival.

At this visit you will:

This helps to avoid filling out paperwork when you are admitted to the hospital in labor. 

• Take a tour of the department

See our beautiful labor and postpartum suites. Start to visualize your labor and birth and where you will meet your little one.

• Learn about Labor, Birth and Postpartum Care at Prairie Ridge Health

We want you to feel prepared for your baby’s birth. We will discuss what you can expect from your care here at the Birth Center. Your preparation is enhanced by attending our childbirth and breastfeeding classes as well as completing a birth plan.

We will contact you near the end of your pregnancy to schedule. We look forward to meeting you!
