Seven foursomes were awarded for their efforts in the Prairie Ridge Health Foundation’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic July 9 at Kestrel Ridge Golf Course in Columbus.
Golfers were placed in three flights based on gross team scores. Prizes were awarded to the top two teams in each flight, as well as the 23 place team overall. Fifteen flag events were awarded. In addition, participants had the opportunity to compete in a putting contest, a beat the pro contest, a beat the CEO contest, and try their chance at four hole-in-one prizes and 15 flag events.
Proceeds from the 18-hole scramble are being used for a Dietary Food Management (DFM) Room Service Connect System to manage patient meals. The automated system ensures that patients receive meals within proper diet and nutritional allotments.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds are being placed in the PRH Foundation’s general endowment fund and will be used to benefit future community projects and hospital needs.
